I occasionally find myself writing articles of some kind or other on social sites like Quora, StackOverflow and Facebook. I thought it was about time to collect all of it up and dump it on a domain of my own. The most likely topics are:

My name is Robin Hilliard. I live in Sydney, Australia with my family and a day job as CTO of RocketBoots, a most excellent group of people.

I’m a bit of an aviation and messing-around-in-boats nut, and occasionally get to fly or go sailing. I’ve  built two boats and excel at interrupting whatever I’m doing with other interesting or unexpected projects, such as this blog.

I’m an occasional chorister and a science fan. Along with the better parts of human nature I believe that the scientific process, evidence-based reason, curiosity and anything else that causes people to keep asking good questions are the best hope for this and future generations to lead happier, more meaningful and peaceful lives.
